Can I still keep playing Genesis after April 7th?
Existing users that properly turn off auto-updates can continue playing as if nothing happened. Just make sure you turn off automatic updates for Starfield and do NOT ever launch Starfield from Steam (as in press Play in your Steam Library)

Genesis will not launch at all if you choose to update your game prematurely on April 7th. It takes weeks/months to sort out all bugs associated with bethesda updates. We will be switching to using the stock game folder method of Wabbajack on release day, meaning it will clone a copy of an old (current) version of Starfield so that Genesis can continue being playable for new users. The only caveat to this is that new users will need an extra 120 gb of storage. Once Genesis is back on the latest version of Starfield after x amount of time, we will most probably switch back to a non-stockgame folder to save on that 120 GB of space.

Terran Armada DLC Requirement
Zero plans to make the Terran Armada DLC a mandatory requirement. We learned our lesson from Shattered Space. Shattered Space will always be the only DLC requirement for Star Wars Genesis. Depending on how useful the “incursions” are, I’ll use it to mimic a galactic civil war as an optional mod included within the modlist. Terran Armada enemies are just human models with droids skins so it has zero relation to a potential Separatist Remnant faction replacer.
