Default Settings (with some exceptions and explanations)
Most of these settings are set to the recommended value by default unless you didn’t follow all the instructions during the install or if you changed them after. I’ve left this page up for those people. If you’re a Linux user, you’ll probably use this page as reference as well.
| Setting | Recommend Value | Notes |
| Dynamic Resolution | OFF | Can cause situational crashing and menu lag |
| VSync | OFF | Can cause situational crashing and menu lag |
| Dialogue Camera | OFF | Under Accessibility Settings. Causes clipping if ON |
| Dialogue and General Subtitles | ON | The subtitles are often translated ahead of voicelines. This is so you keep context when if you encounter vanilla voicelines. |
| Brightness | 2.62 | Both this and Contrast are meant to be set at these specific values to work together with our realistic lighting mod |
| Contrast | 0.90 | Both this and Brightness are meant to be set at these specific values to work together with our realistic lighting mod |
| Music | ON | Under Audio Settings. Default is OFF for many users. Obviously optional. |
| Upscaling Framegen | OFF | You MAY have crashes or infinite loading with it ON. So turn it on at your own risk (Most users can turn it ON fine) |
| Motion Blur Film Grain | OFF | Visual Fidelity |
| Show Damage Numbers | OFF | Immersion |
