Linux Installation Process

Just going to be brutally honest here. If you have an issue when following this guide, I will not be able to help you. I’m a Software Dev/QA and I know nothing about Linux besides how to SFTP to our Linux server and put files into it or take files from it. This is just quotes and steps given to me by people who got Star Wars Genesis working on Linux. If you have any additional information you’d like to offer or even volunteer to write your own guide, feel free to contact me in the Discord.

1. Follow this guide and then add MO2 on Steam and enable Proton Hotfix

2. Rest of the steps is generally the same as Windows. You will probably have to do the manual document installation rather than running the bat file.
3. When doing the manual installation of the documents, you won’t be able to run the powershell scripts but that’s not a big deal. You can use this page for reference on what settings to use, which that script just sets automatically.
