FPS Boosts

This page encompasses most of the minor stuff you can do on your PC that may increase your overall FPS. Just be aware that results depend on your PC’s specs. For some PC’s, it’ll barely make a difference. For others, it may drastically improve FPS and stability.

  1. Edit your Starfield.ini in your Starfield folder and add a # infront of uiUpscale Tech. It would basically look like this:
    #uiUpscaleTech
  2. If you have a 30 series+ GPU, download Nvidia Profile Inspector and enable ReBar for Starfield
  3. In NVIDIA Control Panel for Starfield.exe, set these settings to match what’s below:
    • Power Management Mode -> Prefer Maximum Performance
    • Shader Cache Size -> Unlimited
    • Low Latency Mode -> Off
    • Textere Filtering – Quality -> High Performance
    • Anisotropic Sample Optimization -> On
    • Threaded Optimization -> On
