3rd Person Lightsaber/Melee Animations

The day has finally come.

  • Use left click to execute a upwards and horizontal slash combo while moving
  • Use right click to execute a single horizonal slash while moving
  • Blasters shots will automatically be blocked and deflected with an x% chance dependent on the rank of your Lightsaber Deflection perk
  • The first person animation lock has been removed, but first person will not have auto-deflection and will require you to hold down right click to block/deflect shots.
1st Person Blaster Reticles
  • All blasters that did not have proper ironsights have had hologram crosshairs added to their models
Force Power Progression Revamp

There are now 7 main powers, all acquired through events in the main story.

  • You are guaranteed to get these powers first during the main quest: Force Push, Force Pull, Force Barrier, Force Cloak, Force Statis, Force Dash, and Force Burst.
  • Any temple done beyond the initial 7 gives you a placeholder power that will be replaced in future content
  • The Mysterious Trainer on Tython has been reworked to only train you on powers you already know. You can no longer learn powers from him (for now). His dialogue has been rewritten to match that and he has been given voicelines.
  • The Mysterious Trainer on Tython is now a proper scripted optional boss fight, and grants you a unique skill + armor reward IF you choose to fight and kill him.
  • Increased the armor value of the Republic General Armor to 600
  • The Jedi Temple Guard Mask now gives 15% Force Power Resist
Dodge Skill
  • Learn a new skill force sensitive only skill in the physical tree, allowing you to dodge upon pressing Alt
  • Dodges are considered iframes, meaning you do not take damage while dodging
  • In the future, non force sensitives will have access to their own unique dodge
Quests and Voicelines
  • All companion interjections in the Imperial Questline has been rewritten and revoiced, but not 1 on 1 conversations about the questline after it is done. This means you can fully play the questline with companions now.
  • All companion interjections in the Rebel Questline has been rewritten and revoiced, but not 1 on 1 conversations about the questline after it is done. This means you can fully play the questline with companions now.
  • The Failure to Communicate quest has been reworked into a Rebel-exclusive mission in the Aldhani system, where you join fellow Rebels to capture and neutralize a damaged Imperial cruiser.
  • The Freight Fright quest and Refurbished Goods repeatable quest from Geonosis has been completely rewritten/revoiced, along with related enemy spawn changes and bug fixing.
  • The Re-Re Application quest in the Merchant Station has been completely rewritten/revoiced with a new plot (pre-req is imp quest in progress/completed)
  • The Heart of Mars quest in Geonosis has been completely rewritten/revoiced with a new plot
  • The Space Frog quest in Geonosis has been completely rewritten/revoiced with a new plot
  • The Special Delivery quest in Geonosis has been completely rewritten/revoiced with a new plot
  • The officer in Hemlock’s lab for the Imperial Quest has been converted and rewritten to be a clone veteran
  • Converted Jade (Hera’s friend) from the Rebel Questline into Sabine Wren (visually for now)
Galaxy Map
  • The galaxy map has been reworked so that Star Wars systems are now in their lore accurate positions. This Star Wars Galaxy is all in your direct field of view when you open the galaxy map and doesn’t require you to pan around.
  • When moving the galaxy map camera down or to the right through the emptiness, you will enter “Wild Space”, which contains the remaining unconverted vanilla planets
  • Removed the dumb grid from the galaxy map UI
Aldhani and Rebel Sidequest
  • The planet (and System) of Aldhani has been added, with a singular Ancient Grasslands biome
  • Players that have gone past the 2nd Rebellion Storyline quest OR have the Rebel Scum trait will receive a distress signal when entering the Aldhani system, where they can work together with a band of Rebels and capture a damaged Imperial Cruiser
Rhen Var
  • The planet of the first main story temple has been replaced with Rhen Var, with it’s system converted to the lore accurate Tobali System.
  • Rhen Var features 1 unique biome
Ilum
  • The planet (and System) of Ilum has been added, featuring two unique biomes.
  • This planet has no content at the moment, but will be featured in an upcoming quest/location by patientwave
Geonosis
  • The old Ilum planet has been removed from the now Geonosis System.
  • The rest of the planets inside the new Geonosis system have been renamed to be lore accurate
  • The planet of Taris remains in the Geonosis system but will be revamped into the living planet of Zonama Sekot for the upcoming Main Quest revamp.
D’Qar
  • The “Dathomir (Coming Soon)” system has been converted into the Ileenium System, featuring the planet of D’Qar, which is visited during the end of the Rebel/Partisan questline
Lodge Overhaul
  • Revamped the Lodge into a proper Star Wars area for the upcoming main story re-imagining.
Jetpacks
  • The spacebar version of the jetpack now briefly boosts you horizontally. The hover version (Ctrl + Spacebar) is untouched.
  • This will not affect current jetpacks. You will have to obtain/spawn in new jetpacks to receive the reworked version.
Bug Fixes
  • Experimental fix for the infinite loading at Smuggler’s Outpost
  • Fixed a major bug where elite enemies were dropping additional armors in their loot pool that they shouldn’t have been
  • Removed all generated lipsync data for the rebel and imperial questlines as the buggy facial animations were not worth the mismatched lipsync
  • Experimental fix for the naked/bugged poi factions bug caused by Hutts/Pykes
  • Fixed a bug where there was a 5% chance certain enemies would spawn without blasters (or heads)
  • Fixed a bug where Thrawn would interrogate and arrest you after you became an Imperial Agent (this was ninja patched on 1/29/26)
  • Fixed a bug in the Imperial Story “No Survivors” quest where the covert rebels would fake arrest you if you had a rebel bounty. Now they will say “i recognize you blah blah” and the conversation will force you into a brawl.
  • Rewrote the vanilla text in the quest journal log for the “No Survivors” quest as it was causing confusion. (I didn’t realize people actually stopped to read those)
  • Added an experimental fix to the inaccessible ship bug that ~30% of users encounter
  • Muted the spammy suit protection sounds during specific weathers
  • Fixed a bug where Geonosis had low gravity
  • FIxed a bug where some homesteaders and traders were wearing their ugly Starfield clothes
  • Fixed an oversight where the smuggler hat had a voice filter attached to it
  • Fixed a bug where certain quests on Geonosis were not working
  • Prevented radiant artifacts from spawning in the Saleucami system as it broke the quest
Props/Visuals
  • Lightsaber blades have been made 10% thicker and 10% longer
  • All mission boards have been replaced with custom Star Wars models
  • A few additional misc. props have been replaced with star wars counterparts
  • Changed the symbol of the main quest in your quest log
Weight Limit Rework
  • Removed the oxygen penalty when overweight and replaced it with a 50% movement speed penalty.
Balance
  • The Isolation perk has been reworked to provide health and carryweight rather than armor
  • Due to past balance changes, shotguns became extremely weak. They have been reworked to apply conditional armor penetration for the player only, making them viable again but not too strong like last one.
  • The Shotgun Certification perk in the skill tree now provides increased damage and a bonus knockback effect capping at 15% chance. However, it will only work on planets greater than or equal to 1.0 gravity.
  • Added a new perk in the tree called “Melee Counter”, allowing you block the damage of melee attacks with a melee weapon, while also staggering the enemy. Basically a parry. This only works in first person for now.
  • Melee attacks no longer cost stamina (for now until I add a proper stamina bar SoonTM)
  • EE-3 is now burst fire rather than single fire
Misc.
  • EE-3 is now burst fire rather than single fire
  • Photo Mode Frames have been replaced with equivalent Star Wars ones
  • Krayt Dragons now drop 3 scales instead of 1
  • Rewrote like 20 or so loading screen excerpts to random Star Wars facts before I got overwhelmed and bored at the sheer amount of them
  • Renamed Heatleeches to Gizka Larva
Optimization/List Management
  • The decals in the Massacre at Kreet.esm plugin have been merged into StarWarsGenesisLocations.esm and the plugin has been removed
  • The StarWarsGalaxyMapDeityVengy.esm plugin has been merged into StarWarsGenesisPlanets.esm and removed
  • Removed BasicSithLighting.esm
  • Integrated the FreestarXWings.esm plugin into the new StarWarsShipReplacer.esm plugin, which will cover all vanilla ship replacements moving forward for organizational purposes
