Star Wars Genesis 8.6.2 Patch Notes
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the interior clipping happening in the Merchant Station
- Fixed ALOT of vanilla lines leftover in Imperial Questline thanks to a generous trait/background spreadsheet link (and your reports)
- Fixed ALOT of vanilla lines leftover in Rebel Questline thanks to a generous trait/background spreadsheet link
- Fixed the rebel ships in Imperial Space for good this time
- Fixed the shitty texture of the Imperial Agent Light Armor
- Disabled a terminal in the Imperial Questline Abandoned Mines that had vanilla lines and broke your quest
- Removed the melee reflect skill that certain fauna had (causing lightsaber users to one shot themselves)
- Removed leftover references to Death Watch and Nite Owl armor from regular areas/NPCs
- Added further menus to the Force Reflex blacklist such as the ship decorator
- Fixed the issue where the vanilla “First Contact” mission above Niamos was still auto-proccing
- Fixed the lack of flashlight for ND-5 armor
Blaster Bug Fixes
- A blaster attachment overhaul/cleanup that I did in 8.6 made it so some variants of blasters became invisible. I’ve addressed most ones you have reported and a few other ones I spotted. This fix will only be applicable for any new blasters you acquire in the galaxy. If you see any more, please let me know so I can fix them as well.
- Fixed a major bug with certain weapons causing them to spawn as lower leveled variants rather than unleveled ones (making them very weak). The list of weapons is below:
- ZB3
- MPL-57
- Flamethrower
- Concussion Grenade Launcher
- Commander Vibrosword
- Amban
- A427
- A-300 Rifle
- Cycler
- and most melee weapons
Lightsabers and Force Powers
- Fixed the lightsaber damage formula bug causing it to do no damage against some higher-end NPCs
- Please note that the lightsaber damage value has been reduced to 600, but it is NOT a nerf.
- Please note that a blaster/physical weapon doing 600 damage is NOT the same as a lightsaber doing 600 damage
- Blocking with a melee weapon now reduces 90-100% of damage. This is a WIP feature that will slowly progress into a proper block that staggers enemies
- Made it so the first power you obtain in the Main Story is Force Push
Yuuzhan Vong
- Rebalanced the Vong enemies and bosses
- Added invisibility power to Nom Anor
- Made all Vong immune to Force Push
- Made all Vong immune to stun damage
- Nerfed Tsavong’s HP and energy resist
Economy
- Significantly reduced prices of all blasters
Engine Fixes
- Updated to the latest version of Engine Fixes, fixing a bug that has been bothering me for over 2 years now. When ADSing in 3rd person, your character will no longer go up or down in height in random spots
Sith Empire
- Redesigned the Sith Empire enemy blaster pool list with more lore accurate advanced Imperial weapons
Bosses
- Rebalanced the lightsaber damage resist of some bosses to correctly reflect the new formula
Misc.
- Rewrote some loading screen facts before I got bored
- Rewrote the Emperor’s Embrace description
