Performance Improvements
- Packaged Coruscant as BA2 instead of loose
While this won’t solve the menu lag, it will make it better/playable. The menu lag has always existed afaik. It’s just that it seems to get worse and worse as stuff piles up. If this improves overall performance for you guys, let me know so I prioritize doing it to other aspects of the modlist such as all the sound files.
Additionally, I’ve updated the Optimization page with more performance boosts, such as enabling ReBar on newer NVIDIA GPUs. I also want to highly emphasize how big of an impact the Special K application is for many people. I fixed a typo with the ini I originally gave you guys and I also provided more details to hopefully help out more.
Health Value Fix
- Increased base health back to 200 from 100. Unfortunately, this change is not retro-active for existing characters. Please add an additional 100 health with console commands to any new characters made in 8.0.0. Sorry
The command is: player.modav health 100
Headless NPCs
- Fixed all headless/armless NPCs in Tatooine
This won’t immediately fix the NPCs in your vicinity but any new crowds spawning in naturally OR newly discovered POIs will have NPCs with heads. A simple resetinventory console command will also fix any NPC you’ve recruited that had this issue
- Fixed all half invisible Togruta/Twi’lek alien heads (theoretically). This should be retro-active
Tatooine Weather Fix
- It should no longer rain on Tatooine or any desert biome from now on
Coruscant Changes
- Additional lightposts in spaceport and new smoky vents
- 2 new lights at park for testing
- Replaced 4 medium sized post-volume effects with 2 large sized ones to prevent the white flashing occurring when moving between zones
